Our day started bright and early ... Meeting at SFO at 5:30 am! By the time Lynne and I arrived at 5 am, Daisy was already there! By 5:45, everyone had arrived and we started our passport check-in.
Passports were checked...luggage had all made weight... And it was time for our group photo. The paparazzi was there (in the form of parents)...
And then it was time for hugs and good-byes so we could head through customs!
Off we went...to Chicago...where we had a layover before boarding the plane to Rome!
As we traveled...Claire was peering out the window...
